Hi
Just two quick items for today, before I head out for an 8-hour fat bike ride to train for my upcoming 100-mile snow race. Unfortunately, it's a balmy 32 degrees here in Anchorage right now, since so many of you in the lower 48 stole our cold weather.
If you're experiencing an extreme cold snap right now, then I wish you the best of luck staying warm and safe.

The X-T3 is an amazing camera indeed, and one of the coolest, most powerful settings is the PRE-SHOT ES feature. Found in the SHOOTING SETTINGS Menu, this tool is specifically designed for capturing very fast action.
Unfortunately, the manual doesn't give very much advice as to how you can use this function. I've covered it in my X SERIES UNLIMITED guide, but given how useful this setting is for capturing things that move, whether you shoot sports, wildlife, birds, race cars, people in motion or fleeting expressions, I figured I'd expand and tell you exactly how I use it.
If you have an X-T3, or are thinking about getting one, read my PRE-SHOT ES blog post and learn how it can help you nail the perfect moments with more accuracy and confidence.
Only Two More Days to Save 20% On "Behind The Landscape"
I extended the exclusive subscriber special on my brand new eBook, Behind The Landscape, This guide is like a virtual workshop, where I take you behind the scenes during the creation some of my favorite images
shot during the past five years.
All of the images in the book were made with X Series cameras and lenses, and in addition to the composition and exposure information, I also let you know the specific Fuji settings I used for each picture.
I ran a special 20% deal when the book came out, but since that was right around the holidays, I decided to extend the offer to you until the end of January. And as always, if you buy the book and decide it's not the right guide for you, I'll give you a full refund.
So, through tomorrow, , you can use the discount code BTL20 and get this comprehensive, inspiring guide at a special price. After that it goes back up to regular price. If you've already purchased
the guide, then I'd love to hear what you think.
