​Today, I start a brand new series: Instagram Reels with original music. My first clip is a scene from yesterday’s very chilly afternoon walk along the trails in Anchorage with my Fujifilm X-T4 and XF70-300mm lens. 

 

During the past couple of years, I've become more intrigued with creating and scoring short videos, and I've posted a handful of them on my YouTube Channel.

 

As a longtime musician, I've started to devote even more time to music in recent months and continue to look for ways to bring that to the forefront in my life. I see this little "Reels" project as a great way to combine these two passions, keep me motivated, and experiment with new sounds and styles on the guitar and keyboard.

 

Winter is such a wonderful time for photography in Alaska, so I thought this was a fitting way to start the series! Enjoy, let me know what you think, and keep watching for more of these on my Instagram channel!
