Although I often shoot JPEG with my Fujifilm cameras, when I DO shoot RAW, I want to make sure I'm getting the highest possible quality from the incredible X-Trans RAW files that the X Series cameras are capable of producing.
Lately, I've been relying on a program called
DxO PureRAW 2 to do my initial conversions, especially with high ISO images, because it offers
exceptional quality, and because it's an incredibly simple program to use.
As a plugin for Lightroom or Photoshop, PureRAW 2 lets you easily bypass Adobe's RAW conversion engine, (which doesn't always do the best job with Fuji's X-Trans RAW files), and instead use DxO's powerful denoising tools and optics modules to maximize the quality and sharpness of your RAW files before doing further
editing/export.
As a standalone, PureRAW 2 lets you drag and drop RAW files from any folder and process with just one click. It's so easy, and DxO's DeepPRIME algorithms and excellent lens correction profiles offer incredible quality and denoising technology.
I hope can make it!
