Last week, a bit of news came out that I thought might interest some of you.
Imagine shooting photos or capturing movies, and having those images and video clips being automatically uploaded to the cloud, straight from your camera, where they can immediately be accessed, uploaded to the web, archived, or edited by an assistant or employee.
As part of Adobe's Creative Cloud package,
Frame.io allows content creators to
get video and stills from your camera to the rest of your team, or to your collaborators, even if they're
located around the world.
They can begin reviewing clips on a computer or mobile device, editing a video project with proxy files, compiling images or video to hard drives for backup or shipping to clients, or prepping images for immediate upload to a website, news service, or an online store.
If you're a videographer, a pro wedding, sports, event or festival shooter or a commercial assignment photographer, then this kind of connectively offers incredible benefits and radically increased efficiency in your workflow.
Now I realize that not every photographer will find this to be a useful benefit in their workflow, but for those who do, imagine what you could do with this kind of connectivity.
Thanks for reading and take care!
