Hi ,

As you probably know, I've been dipping my toes into the video pool during the past few years, with a number of adventure short films, music videos and reels, which are posted on my YouTube and Instagram channels. 

It's been a fun learning adventure, and so after buying my X-T5, I decided to dive in even deeper by turning my X-T4 into a dedicated video camera. I bought  a SmallRig cage and handle with remote switch, and an Atomos Ninja V HDMI extermal recorder/monitor. This setup, even withouth the monitor, makes it so much easier to shoot handheld video.

After practicing with it around the house for the past copule weeks, I finally had a chance to put my new rig to use, filming a fatbike downhill race last night at our local ski hill here in Anchroage. 

Using the XC15-45mm lens and XF18-135mm on the X-T4, and also shooting video and still with the XF100-400mm on the X-T5, I got some really awesome footage and still imagery, which I edited down into a fun, five-minute film.
