Who doesn't love movies?

A few years ago, I was scared to dip my toe in the video pool, but with practice and some really good tips from experienced video shooters, I've suddenly become... well, a much more experienced video shooter and filmmaker, and I've been having a lot of fun with it. 

So, in my latest video tutorial, I share with you the basics and essential tips that will get you started shooting video and film with your own Fujifilm X Series camera. 

These are the fundamental settings that the Fujifilm training managers shared with me when I was getting started, and they're the settings that will help you get the best results if you want to make movies with your Fuji. 

Video doesn't have to be complicated. In fact, you can get great results even if you just shoot short clips, handheld and with a single lens. Like shooting stills, it's all about light, subject and moment, with the added component of motion. You just need to know the basic settings, like aspect ratio, frame rate and maybe how to capture slow motion footage.

Whether you want to create highly stylized cinematic movies, or simply preserve the significant moments of your life, shooting video can be a very creative and satisfying style of image making. And the tips I present in my video will get you started, even if still photography will always be your main thing. (Just like it will alwasy be mine.)
