With all this power, the new flagship GFX100 II  offers an incredible choice for still and/or video shooters who want the highest level of performance, quality and compatibility. 

It will, of course, do stunning landscapes, portraits, still life, studio, etc... but it will also do action, and It will take your movie making to a whole new level.

With multiple recording formats, the GFX100 II can do full sensor width DCI 4K 17:9, full width Cine 5.8K 2.35:1, as well as 35mm full frame and anamorphic 35mm.

With the GF to PL adaptor, you shoot your GFX with a wide range of professional and legendary cine lenses, including those made by ARRI, Panavision, Hawk, Leitz and more, for the highest level of cinematic capture. It even has in-camera de-squeezing options.

At only 932 grams, the GFX100 II is almost as light as the Nikon flagship Z8 and Canon R3, but with a vastly bigger sensor and the beautiful Fujifilm design and colors.

With its premium price and large sensor size, the GFX100 II is obviously not for everyone, but I think we can all appreciate and marvel at what Fujifilm has done with this camera.

Brand New GFX Lenses

In addition, Fujifilm has also announced 3 new lenses for the GFX line: the GF 55mm f/1.7 WR prime lens, and two new Tilt-Shift lenses, the GF 30mm f/5.6 T/S and the GF 110mm f/5.6 T/S Macro Lens. 

Both the new T/S lenses offer a built-in data-recording sensor that automatically records the amount of tilt/shift for smoother post production editing and accurate recall for duplicate or re-shoots.

The new 55mm GF lens will also ship on Sept 26, while the two new T/S lenses will ship later this fall.

MORE BIKE RIDING!!!

My shoulder recovery continues to progress with very positive results. I rode 72 miles last week, 33 of those on Sunday (my longest ride yet!) and I even dipped my toe into a tiny section of singletrack. That was a huge milestone for me. 

Although I'm still easing to most activities as my strength and flexibility improve, I'm starting to feel like the world is round again.
