Last night, FUJIFILM announced the brand new X-T50, which brings the fantastic performance of the 5th Gen X Series camera into this much-loved, smaller,
compact and more affordable X Series design.
A huge upgrade from the X-T20/30, the new X-T50 has the same high resolution 40MP X-Trans CMOS HR sensor and X-Processor 5 that's found on the X-T5 and the X-H2. This gives it identical image quality to these two flagship cameras, as well as the same high-powered 5th Gen features, like SUBJECT DETECTION AF, 180,000/sec Electronic Shutter, the new REALA ACE
Film Simulation, 7.0 stops of in-Body Stabilization, and up to 20 fps shooting speeds.
It also has vastly upgraded video specs, with 4K, 6.2K 4:2:2 10-bit video shooting, as well as built-in Frame.io Camera-to-Cloud integration.
Body design is similar to the X-T20/20, but with the addition of a brand new Film Simulation dial, where you can instantly choose
one of 8 classic Fuji film sims, and save up to 3 others to the other dial slots as well. I think this is a really cool feature!
