Hi ,
One of the most amazing aspects about creative photography is that you have so many possible ways to capture your subject matter. With regards to color, you can use rich, highly saturated, incredibly vivid hues to represent your scene, or you can use subtle, more subdued tones to tell a more quiet story with your image.
In my latest video tutorial, Using Bold vs. Subdued Colors in Your Photography, I give you tips on how to make effective use of these techniques in your image making. I explore the visual power and impact that rich vs. more understated colors can have on your scene and show you when you might want to use either of these two approaches for maximum
impact.
Of course, this can help you decide which Fuji film simulation might be best for any given scene, and in my video, share my own insight about the film sims I like to use.
Watch my video and get inspired to try some of these techniques on your own. And feel free to leave a comment and let me know what you think!
I hope you're having a great week. Take care, be creative and stay safe.
