Exposure is one of the most vital aspects of photography, and it's often the thing we struggle most with when we're trying to create compelling images. There are many schools of thought with regards to the best methods for properly exposing your scenes, and I know that sometimes this can end up being a confusing subject.
In my latest video tutorial, How to Ensure Proper Exposure with Mirrorless Cameras, I show you my exact exposure method when I'm shooting with my FUJIFILM mirrorless cameras. The best thing about this method, is that it's extremely simple, and that's because mirrorless cameras offer some huge
technology benefits that make getting the right exposure a very easy process.
This method works even when shooting in very tricky and challenging light, and it works with other mirrorless camera brands as well, not just FUJIFILM. (If you're a DLSR shooter, this method still applies if you're shooting in LIVE VIEW mode on your camera.)
As you'll see in my video, getting the right exposure for your imagery doesn't have to be hard. Sure, there are other aspects to the process, and I'll explain in a future video, but for now, this method will get you by in the majority of your shooting situations.
