There's a lot of really confusing stuff out there on the web that can make it hard to keep your photography priorities in the right place. In order to make sure you start the new year right on the right creative foot, I made this short video to remind you what's important and what's not.

As we head into the new year, I've decided that my life is too short not to make as much music as I can, even as I continue to plug away full time with photography.
I'm currently working on a few new songs, and I'm getting ready to release an album of guitar instrumentals I recorded between 200-2007.
I realize that you started following me for my photography, but if you're interested in my music and would like to stay informed, or even just read my thoughts about stuff like music and guitars from time to time, you can click here to check out my music site.
For me, music is as important in my life as photography. It's a part of who I have always been, so if you want to know more about that side of me, then great. If not, and you'd rather just stick to photography, then that's fine too.
Either way, I want to thank you again for your continued support. This has been a tough week, but I hope you're looking forward to better days ahead as we keep plodding forward.
