Hi ,

I hope you're having a great summer so far. Here in Alaska, the weather has been pretty darn awesome, so I've spent much of the time shooting photos and enjoying the time spent hanging out with friends. After last year, this has been a really nice treat. And, I've been biking a ton. I rode 21 days in June, and I've done 9 races so far, with six 1st place finishes for the 50+ category. 💪

I haven't been spending much time at the computer during the past few weeks, and since I wouldn't expect you to spend too much time in front of the screen right now either, this will be a very concise newsletter issue.

For the most part, I wanted to share some of my recent posts, and give you some incredibly valuable tips. This is a reminder of just how capable mirrorless cameras are, and how they can make your life so much easier.

Last summer, I did a three part series on exposure on my YouTube Channel. It's designed to help you gain more confidence with your camera when shooting in tricky light. You can watch the first video below, and then find the links to part two and part three at the end of that lesson.

Music - Recent Album Release

As you may know, I'm also a musician with a degree in music production, and earlier this spring, I released a brand new album of 8 original songs. This was a huge milestone for me, and a very ambitious project, and I'm so proud of how it turned out.

If you'd like to listen to the record, you can stream it on all the major music series, like Apple Music and Spotify, or purchase the album here. It's mostly guitar based rock, (5 vocal and 3 instrumental tracks) with a few keyboards thrown in, and an acoustic fingerstyle ragtime piece as well.
