Yesterday, October 4 was my official 25 year anniversary for being self employed. That's right, I've been a full-time professional photographer for a quarter of a century. 

 

As you can imagine, this is an incredible, momentous milestone achievement for me, and as I look back and reflect on all of the steps, events, decisions, ideas, interactions and adventures that have brought me to this point, it blows me away to think that I made it this far. 

 

I've written a brief retrospective on my blog, and I also uploaded a personal video where I share some insight and a few memories, and talk about some of the struggles and adaptations I've had to make along the way to this 25-year mark.

 

I tried to shoot the video in my front yard, since it was so sunny yesterday, but unfortunately, the guy up the street was incessantly power washing his car, and my other neighbor was banging away with his sledgehammer. So, I was forced to retreat back inside the house and film inside. 🙄

 

Anyway, as I reflect on this milestone, I want to extend my deepest thanks and gratitude to you guys, my readers and followers, because your support has been integral during this journey throughout the past few years.
