If you've followed my work for a few years, then you know just how much I love cyclocross, and having shot thousands of frames of this exciting, spastic sport over the past decade, it's definitely made me a better action photographer.
Shooting anything on a regular basis lets you practice your skills and techniques and experiment with a variety of gear and creative approaches. This is what shooting cross has been for me, and these ten years are also a documentary of my transition from DSRLs to Mirrorless cameras and how they've become so much more capable in recent years.
As with any craft, if you spend enough hours doing it, you'll eventually become really good at it, and hopefully you'll have a lot of fun in the the process. I hope you have something like that in your life.
