Hi ,
I just wanted to take a minute and wish you Happy New Year.
With 2018 now officially in the history books, I look back with incredible fondness and much enthusiasm for all that happened in the past twelve months, and I want to give you my sincere thanks for being a part of it.
One of the things that stands out for me was that fact that I got to meet so many of you in person during my 2018 events and workshops. I gave quite a few talks at camera stores around the country and participated in a couple of great workshops, and this gave me the chance to connect with hundreds of other photographers, many of who are your fellow subscribers.
I always enjoy meeting you guys out in the world and putting real faces to the names in my email. It's even better when it's someone with whom I've had online exchanges over the years.
The truth is that my photography world would look a lot different without your support, so I just want to thank you again for allowing me to be a part of your own photography journey. As we move forward with a new year, I hope I can continue to play a role in your creative and technical development and inspire you to make photographs that you love.
With that in mind, to highlight articles you might have missed during the past year, I published a piece last week called My 10 Favorite Blog Posts In Wrote in 2018. They’re my favorite “tips and insight” entries from the year. Even if you read all of these posts, revisiting them might spark some fresh inspiration.
I've got some new ideas for 2019, including the development of a series of e-courses, and I'll continue to explore endlessly fascinating photography ideas on my blog and hopefully do more workshops and events as well. If there are any specific topics you'd like to see me cover in my online courses or on my blog, please let me know.
So, whether you're a longtime reader, , or whether you recently joined on, I want to thank you again and wish you the very best for 2019. Also, I want you to know that although I wasn't able to respond to all of your holiday emails, I read every single one of them, so thanks for sending those.
