Download Luminar Flex, the Free Plug-in Version for PS, LR and Apple Photos

With Luminar 3, Skylum has added the new Library feature, which now allows you to create catalogs and import, store, sort, browse and edit all of your images right inside the program. In that way, Luminar 3 is a complete photography solution that offers a very easy and straightforward workflow.

However, many photographers still prefer to use Lightroom, Photoshop, and even Aperture to organize and edit their photos.

To best serve the photo community, Skylum has just released a brand new option called Luminar Flex. This is a dedicated Plug-in version of Luminar which is compatible with Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom Classic and Elements, as well as Apple Photos and Aperture.

While Luminar 3 does work as a Plug-in, Luminar Flex offers a much better solution for people who still prefer to stick to their current Adobe workflow, but who still want the option to edit their photos in Luminar.

Luminar Flex offers all of the same photo editing tools as Luminar 3, as well as improved support for Photoshop Smart Objects, more Workspaces and Looks, and it works with both Mac and Windows.

Luminar Flex is a free download for existing Luminar users, and going forward, if you prefer to stick to your existing workflow, this is the version you'll use. If you're thinking of purchasing Luminar, but don't need the catalog option, then you'll want the Flex version.
