Exploring the World of Outdoor Photography with Tips, News, Imagery and Insight Dan Bailey's Adventure Photography Blog
Hi ,

Welcome to my new and updated Adventure Photography Newsletter and thanks for subscribing, or re-subscribing if you're a longtime reader. I'm excited about the new format and look forward to getting out a great selection of posts and photo-related into to you in the coming months.

As we head into fall, the season that all photographers love, take a minute to assess your gear and think about what you want to shoot this season. Good nature photography requires good egs, so if you don't have a decent tripod, maybe now's the time to get one. (I've got some tripod reviews on my blog.)

If you've been dreaming about new glass, try renting a lens or two this fall to get an idea of what you like. Or just experiment with one for a week without agonizing over the price. Lensrentals.com is a great place to check start.

If it's people or action you're after, fall offers great light and very pleasing backgrounds, and high ISO bodies give great results inside dimming forests.

The opportunities for fall photography are endless. Have fun with it. Do something you've never done before. Try new techniques, new gear and a new approach. Take your creativity and run with it.

Catch up on my recent blog posts below and don't hesitate to contact me with any questions about outdoor photography, the newsletter or the blog in general. I'd love to get to know you as a person and not just a subscriber.

Take care,
Dan
