Black Friday Deals - Nikon, Canon, Fujifilm and Luminar

Published: Fri, 11/25/16

Hi

I hope you're having a great week! I spent Thanksgiving with family in Denver and enjoyed the extra sunshine that Alaska is lacking right now. It's always nice to take it in when you can!

I just wanted to let you know about a few of the Black Friday deals. Not that I would condone over consumption over getting outside and playing with friends, but deals are deals, and if there's a piece of gear or software you're thinking about getting, it only makes sense to grab them when they're on sale.

Luminar Photo Editing Software For Mac
Macphun is running an awesome Black Friday deal- If you buy the software, you get four extra bonus produces ($140 value) for free - 2 photography eBooks, a video tutorial and a set of Lightroom Plugins.

One of the books included in the bundle is Making The Image, my 50-page manual on composition and how to create stronger, more powerful images.

I mentioned Luminar on my blog last week, if you're a Mac user and are looking for a simple photo editing solution that has an easy-to-use, and totally customizalbe interface and workflow, I highly recommend downloading the free demo and checking out how it works.

However, the Black Friday bundle deal only last a few more days, so if you think you want those free bonus tutorials, you'll want to jump on that now.

More Photography Goodness
Just to keep you motivated, I'm including a couple of good photography articles for you to check out over the weekend.

A Study of Vision, Light and Shadows - A great piece on photography vision and approaching subject matter with your own unique mindset and creative approach.

Revelations about Photography; Motivators - An introspective piece by Dennis Mook, who I finally had the chance to meet at the Great Smoky Mountains Photography Summit last month. Dennis is one of my followers, so I'm happy to share his post.

If you have an article you'd like me to share in a future newsletter, send me a link or tag me on Twitter and I'll include it in one of my email blasts.

As always, thanks for reading and have a great weekend!
