Here we are, a week and a half away from Spring, and I finally dug the plane out and went flying. This was a significant event, because it was my frist time shooting aerials with the X-T5. I've been waiting all winter for this, but between huge snow dumps we've had, weeks of challenging weather and lots of snow biking, I hadn't managed to get up in the little Cessna yet this winter.
In addition to being one of my absolute favorite subjects, shooting aerials is kind of my benchmark thing to do whenever I get a new camera. I missed the best part of winter with the X-T5 this year, but early spring can still be a great time for this before the warmer weather sets in and snow starts to melt up high.
Anyway, here's my first official aerial photo I've shot with the X-T5, captured with the XF70-300mm lens.
