We all have
unique creativity personalities and styles, and so the amount of "neatness" that we try to apply to our image making will vary wildly between different people.
Some photographers put a great deal of effort into creating perfectly clean compositions, with no visual distractions of any kind. Others will be ok with a little bit of "messiness," and in may even see a
little bit of clutter as something that adds more interest to the viewer's visual journey through the photo.
Of course, neither approach is right, and neither is wrong, but there is one trap that I encourage people to avoid, which is getting too caught up in the process of chasing perfection.
