Hi ,
What's the one thing that will make you better?
Better at what?
Well... better at anything.
You probably already know the answer. It's a no brainer,
really.
It's practice.
Nothing will help you improve at your craft more than regular practice.
So... with that in mind, here we are into the second month of the year, and have you been practicing your photography? Have you been out shooting with your camera on a regular basis, or at the very least, talking walks with it, even if you just shoot one or two images?
Even just the process of seeing and paying attention to your surroundings can help, especially if you're devoting time to the process of composing possible scenes in your mind.
"Oh, that's a pretty tree in the sunlight! What if I played it against that background I know will be in shade in the late afternoon?"
Or...
"What would it look
like if I compressed that row of snow covered roofs with a long lens and shot from a vantage point that puts them agains those mountains?"
Or...
"Oooh, the sunset is getting really good! I just need a foreground.. how about that row of trees at the end of the parking lot?"
